Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You're very precise. I can't quite remember. Probably the he man. Sure as a kid I loved it all.

Do you remember Ray fighting Ted on The Den?

I must have blocked it out!

If you were offered a scholarship 20k per annum to study full time for 4 years would you take it? and what would you study?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,309 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

No, my study days are behind me plus I wouldn't walk away from my current job.
    I'd take the 20k though!

Are you currently studying for anything?

Is there an aisle in the supermarket you never go into?

    Red.

Do you judge people on their appearance?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,409 ✭✭✭✭Sardonicat

    Neither

    Coke or Pepsi?

No. I'm long enough in the tooth to know that appearances are deceptive.

    Neither coke or Pepsi.

Does Pepsi spend its time comparing itself to coke?

Did you wonder as a kid "where does the sun go"?

  • Registered Users Posts: 292 ✭✭Hippykitten

Don't think so (I love when kids ask those kinds of questions)

If you were to perform a duet, which artist (living/dead) would you choose?

Dolores O Riordan. The most amazing voice there ever was in my opinion.

Have you alcohol in you tonight?

No but my hands are practically alcoholic at this stage over covid.

Where would you go to make a first date memorable?

    These days? The sitting room!

Did you ever have to recall an email for an embarrassing reason?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,309 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

No thankfully, that would be embarrassing.

    Ever do karaoke?

Recall an email? How long after it's sent can you do that?

I tend to stand by what I say even if I shot from the hip. Ive written plenty of tripe but I just move on from it and learn from it :D

How were your dreams last night?

Sorry Deja! I got distracted by the idea of disappearing emails! I missed the last question.
I am enjoying the lockdown in some ways :)

    What's for breakfast?

Weetabix (three) in freezing cold milk followed by two poached eggs, toast and coffee.

    Poached, boiled or friend eggs?.

Laughing here at "friend eggs" I'm not a big egg eater (cakes are an exception)

    Favourite type of cake?

    lol, I'll leave the typo.

Anything without chocolate, but my fav would be cheese cake with a big dollop of fresh cream :D

Have you been strict on keeping to the HSE guidelines during lockdown?.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,050 ✭✭✭Ruby Ring

I'm giving myself an A for following the guidelines.
My favourite cake changes, today I'm thinking chocolate.

Currently watching Press on Netflix. Can you think of a headline to describe the current Boards situation?

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators Posts: 80,797 Mod ✭✭✭✭Sephiroth_dude

"Irish website, boards.ie, as slow as a snail for 4 days"

    How was that?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,050 ✭✭✭Ruby Ring

Accurate (need a juicy headline for sales though ... my mind is going into overdrive ... I'm blaming Covid!)

On a scale of 1 to 10, how impulsive are you?

No but I'm making a conscious effort to try and think before I speak.

What do you plan on doing today?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

Waiting for my next text from himself and going for walks and just trying to control the energy and impatience of lockdown.

Will it be hot for the rest of the weekend?

    Are you afraid of mice?

Not afraid of them, just don't like the thought of them in my garden or home.

Have you a cat to help keep mice away?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,105 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

    No pets in this house.

Have you ever ridden a horse?

Have you got nice plans for the evening?

I do, sitting down to read the newest episode of a trashy apocalypse and sharing custard creams with the dog.

How will you spend the evening?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,105 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

Better call Saul will be my evening. Early to sleep.

    What's your favourite cocktail?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,105 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,309 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

How long were you outside today for?

To thine own self be true

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,608 ✭✭✭✭The Princess Bride

An hour of walking this afternoon.

What time will you head to the leaba at?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,105 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

    Soon. Wrecked tired.

Would you dye your own hair?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Nope, I like my hair the way it is, and if I got it coloured I would have it done in a salon. I use colour bombs at home though for condition and to keep the colour.

Would you feel safe getting your hair done if the salons opened now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,309 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

    No I don't think I would. Maybe a 1 to 1 at home.

    Do you take any supplements?

To thine own self be true

I don't, I've bought them a few times but only took a few and then forgot about them.

Have you ever tried CBD oil?
