Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm not into craft beers either. I usually stick with Miller or Corona.

Is a woman drinking Guinness sexy or a turn off?

    Yes,

Have you ever fallen a sleep because some one keeps talking about work?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,153 ✭✭✭jimbobaloobob

No but I’ve walked away from people for constantly talking about work.

Are you finding the restrictions tough?

I find the lack of physical social interaction tough. Missing friends.

Hmm, this is a tough one but I'm saying no. Not because governments dont suppress stuff, more that i dont think there are aliens worth talking about nearby.

Is there such a thing as harmless flirting with others when you're in a relationship?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,497 ✭✭✭auspicious

Maybe. The topic and images are so ubiquitous that implies something is going on. To deny it is strange. To espouse it is crazy.

So long as it's harmless. It's no problem.

Ever heard of the breakaway civilisation theory?

Ah yeah..once you don't do anything..

What, like some Nazi parallel universe with aliens and sh1t?..why yes..yes I have..

    Are you in a relationship?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,328 ✭✭✭Upforthematch

Nope - maybe sometime again in the distant future!

Do you have a 'lucky' shirt or thing and why is it lucky?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,497 ✭✭✭auspicious

No. It's all in the head.

Was my question skipped for a reason?

The question about breakaway civilisation theory? CQD took that one as I'd never heard of it.

How will humans look different or 'more evolved' in 5000 years time?

I have no idea but I was only wondering about that earlier today myself.

Will humans even exist in 5,000 years, do you think?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,497 ✭✭✭auspicious

That's even more of a stretch. With Musk developing the neural link we'll probably be surfing the cosmos in a cube at that stage.

Not humans as we know. Definitely not how we communicate.

Ever read about Controlled remote viewing? Sure if one believes in God isn't anything possible?

Do you think subliminal messaging works?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,497 ✭✭✭auspicious

I think it's what science needs to answer but hasn't a clue where to start. If you think about it it's absurd. We have neuroscientists and rocket scientists but really our understanding is less than rudimentary.

    Subliminal messaging is big business.

Ever have an , from no where, epiphany?

I have them all the time..

    Do you meditate at all?..

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,497 ✭✭✭auspicious

I tried it once two weeks ago and I was astonished by how quickly the time passed. Really.
I think it does change your outlook.

    Have you?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,105 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

    No, never felt the need.

Could you share a bed with someone who snores?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,309 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

Definitely not. They'd be out in the cold.

Do you know anyone with excessively hairy ears?

I used to know an old guy with very hairy ears but he is gone. Hard to stop yourself looking at them.

Would you say you are fit?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,309 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

I'm not fit unfortunately but I was a lot worse :)

    How's your eyesight?

How interested are you in sport?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,153 ✭✭✭jimbobaloobob

    Very interested in some sports

Do you think pre season training for football/hurling/soccer and rugby should have a dedicated session on not spitting?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,497 ✭✭✭auspicious

I enjoy the competitivity but not the stats. I.e. I'll only watch semis and finals in most sports although with GAA I'll watch everything. But since the subs to Sky it's lessened my interest.

Lol 3 hrs since question and 1.min separates our posts. Happens a lot here strangely.
Spitting is gross. It is easy to swallow.

Do you pay for it? And do you think the nation robbed of viewing freely this tradition?

Pay for sport by buying a pint in the pub!

Have you ever used sex wax?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,309 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

Nope and I'm not entirely sure I'd like the sound of what I think it might be.

Have you ever seen the red light district in Amsterdam?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,328 ✭✭✭Upforthematch

Ha, google it, it's not so bad!

Never been to red light district, doesn't appeal to me tbh!

Are you into your bread? Sourdough etc...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 601 ✭✭✭Snails pace

I like sourdough, grinder bread and the homemade brown soda bread.

Do you prefer a pound of butter or the tub of butter to use on bread ?

    Tub..

But flora is better than butter, isn't it?..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,309 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

Absolutely not. Only the real thing in my house.

I dare you to sit on a pineapple.. Will you accept?

Long John Silver and his skull and crossbones.

Would a movie about your life be a tragedy, a comedy, a documentary, a drama or a piece of conceptual art?

  • Registered Users Posts: 292 ✭✭Hippykitten

    Probably a drama.

Which actor would you choose to play you in a movie?

I would ask for Brad Pitt. Would probabably get Jimmy Nail.

    Android or iPhone?
