The financial impact is massive and unprecedented. The government prompted the banks to provide a 3-month mortgage pause but is that the correct response. Would it have been better to pause everything for a month for those who are out of work due to this?

It would be nice if renters got some sort of a break in my opinion.

Everyone should get a break until this is over. Otherwise people will be encouraged to go back to work before its safe.

In all honesty the banks are making a killing off us with mortgages and the guberment was making a killing off us when we rented.

What needs to change is those that work can get housing in cities and those that don't move out.
