Social media bashing again. Tubridy perked up at that.
They'll be lobbying for censorship next

It absolutely deserves to have the **** kicked out of it.

The current lockdown must really hurt The Late Late Show. Instead of have to cajole RTE staff from the RTE canteen to the Late Late studio (as was previously the case), they are now having to cajole them from the RTE canteen to other RTE studios with a Skype headset on the same premises.

It truly is a national crisis

Yes, because RTE and The Newspapers are squeaky clean in that regard.

The 300 Gardai only a few weeks in to training getting swarn in today reminded me a little of "Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol", long may it continue, on the job learning is best.

What time is Stephen Fry on ?

Not the worst but I'd love Hugh Laurie as a guest. Fantastic musician too.

Watching this next. Courtesy of Skid in the other thread.
10pm & 3am The Best Of Ready Steady Go! (BBC4) New!
Clips from the ITV pop show, which began in 1963 and ran until the end of 1966. The Beatles perform Twist and Shout on a moving stage, the Rolling Stones present their very own episode, while Otis Redding duets with Chris Farlowe and Eric Burdon. Other acts appearing include Cilla Black, Lulu, Martha and the Vandellas and Dusty Springfield

Yes, and it still deserves to have **** kicked out of it, it's a cesspool when it comes to certain topics. You've provided examples as to why.

This is good public service television though, decent use of the LLS

Back in the day the format was always flexible enough to be ripped up when needed.

You know what I can’t even critique Ryan tonight.

I’m in awe of the efforts all these people are making.

I just hope that with everyone’s efforts we can be successful in not overwhelming the health services we have.

I’m so incredible anxious about all of this, I have so much to lose and listening to people who are articulate and knowledgeable really gives me so comfort and eases some of my fears.

lol gargling vinegar is a known and scientifically valid way to improve digestion and health.

Garlic and vitamin c are a better bet - they are confirmed to be antiviral.

There's an awful lot of anti-scientific bull**** being written trying to dismiss these things as myths, they will 100% help with a a viral infection.

I saw one article where they were saying taking vitamin c was stupid, then they later admitted that scientists are even trialling its use on people who have the virus. It has always been proven to work on the closely SARS virus and many others. It will help, not cure.

Evening all. I believe I may well be affected now by Covid-19. Just returned from a lovely, peaceful, but very poor country in Africa today as the country went into lockdown to protect its citizens. Was on an amazing 2 week tour, such a lovely experience until two days ago I suffered extreme breathlessness and very low blood oxygen out of the blue. Was strongly advised not to seek medical care there, arrived home today and this afternoon developed the fever, muscle pains, chest pains, sweating. The breathlessness has greatly eased but was terrifying at the time as I couldn’t talk or even think. Have emailed my GP, and of course self-isolating. Ironically that very poor African country is immaculately clean compared to Ireland. I walked into glass twice there as they are forever polishing it, and spraying disinfectant everywhere. Not a speck of litter either, even in shanty town areas.
