I'm guessing the fees they notified you about... Check your bank statement - the printed or pdf version, not the transaction listing in online banking

    Hi there,

    Thanks for posting.

Notified fees are your quarterly transaction charges and maintenance. As correctly mentioned by antix80 you can view a notification of these on 365 Online under the Statements and Documents tab.

    Thanks
    Tara

Contactless fees were due to be waved?
    Why have they been applied?

Do ye seriously think charging fees when we have a national emergency is the right way to do business?

    Hi there,

Thanks for your message. Fees for contactless card payments have been waived and fees for other transaction types - chip & pin at point of sale, ATM, online card purchases, direct debits, standing orders, interest and maintenance are still applicable.

    Thanks
    Tara

okay, so the statement specifically says contactless fees? and they've been charged. Why is this?

Also i received communication saying 'max of 12.70'. Why has more than this been charged to my account?

Just to clarify, fees for contactless transactions made from 16/03/2020 and during the public health emergency will be waived. Transaction fees applied to accounts today are for the fee quarter dated 18 Nov 2019 – 14 Feb 2020.

The €12.70 refers to transaction fees and doesn’t include overdraft interest or quarterly  maintenance. You can view a breakdown of your fees on the statement and documents tab on 365 Online.

    Thanks
    Tara

finally, if people enter an unauthorized overdraft due to these fees will they be charged for this?

Do ue not see the sheer insanity of imposing fees on people in the centre of a national emergency when thousands of people have lost jobs

So Tara is the €12.70 max refer to March 16th onwards?
