how long can you leave pension at post office?

hi all, im going to collect it on behalf of my father, i have the correct form to nominate me etc, but i want to limit the amount of times i go to post office because of the coronavirus. Does anyone know how long can i leave it, example a month etc? thanks

Not sure of the official position - but my mother collects hers every 4 weeks without any issue.
