Remarkably (for me) I havent drank anything from last clann box.

    Looking forward to next delivery.

I usually splurge for xmas about a week before xmas day so will be checking in here and usual places up to then.

So very tempted to bulk buy from Blacks, some serious deals the last few weeks.

Oooh, I'll be on the lookout for this. It's not on their site yet though.

Do we know if this is going out to retail? I would like to try it. I have a thing in my head that I don't really try beers again, and have had all the Whiplash ones before... maybe I'll just get over it and pull together a 6 pack...

E: Went ahead an ordered it with Space Operator (haven't seen them promote that), a Northern Lights, 2 Rollovers and a Body Riddle. Had all of the latter when I first got into craft beer, so figure it might not be a bad idea to try them again since I've had many more beers since.

I'll declare my interest here for transparency's sake, I work for Whiplash. HOC will be arriving in retail this week/early next week. Space Operator is a new one indeed, it was in retail from last week but only just up on our own shop this week.

Ah, thanks for the info. I threw an order in anyhow. Finally an excuse to get the Bag of Cans tote I've been eying up for an age.

Black's black Friday deal is up. Great value €77 for 48 beers - 5 different types, stout, IPA, session etc. Maybe someone more tech savvy than me could post a link or pic ❗
    Edit - delivery free too.

    Any recommendation for Festive/Christmas beers?

I see White Hag have a selection of boxes up, but I'm just not a fan of their work.

I already have the Advent Box from BeerCloud, but it jus seems to be a series of beers, none of them necessarily festive in theme.

Oh Goodie, an ear I can bend.:D

Please pass this up the line.
I've stopped buying any Whiplash IPAs because the labels don't differentiate between IPAs and NewEngland/Hazey/Juicy/East Coast etc.
Everything is just labelled as IPA or Pale Ale with no indication of the actual style.

Whiplash aren't the only offenders of this.

Out of interest, do Whiplash do any old school/west coast IPAs anymore?
I seem to remember some stunning examples when Alex first started.

I'd say the last beer Mr. Lawes made that fit that description was Francis Big Banging IPA in fairness, pre-dating whiplash era. Can't think of any whiplash ipa or double IPA that wasn't very much modern New England or post-New England if such a style has yet been established :D (maybe saturate, but even that was still in the new England ball park despite being clear if I recall).

*yes I know this wasn't directed at me, I'll get back in my box now...

Noted! I won't speak officially for the brewery as this is my personal account, but just wanted to be clear earlier on when I was giving the stock info that I had a vested interest, couldn't have a mod shilling on the sidelines :D

Plenty more to come in terms of styles, obviously even the best laid plans got thwarted this year. We're one year in our own brewery and 9 months of that has been pandemic times.

And Bradley's in Cork already have them in stock.

What's the consensus for these guys? Worth it?

The URL is now live, but only lists 3 cans (which have been moved into 4 for €x deals). Assume / hope more will be added tomorrow.

More has been added now but good deals like half price Browar Stu Mostów sold out already. Doesn't seem like a great sale if that's all there is

A couple of Garage beers, marked down by 20% or so. Nothing extraordinary, and nothing that's making me want to put in an order.

Aside, Bradley's now stocking beer from a Canadian brewery - Collective Arts.

    Very fetching cans.

Amazingly, it's my first delve into the clann box.

I have to say that advent looks sensational!

Will ye twist me arm, just a tiny bit. 🙄

I really don't think that's anywhere near enough alcohol to get anyone through a couple of hours of Tubridy. :D

Would you recommend getting that box as a present? I have it in my cart online but I'm here wondering if it's worth it! I see they've another Christmas gift box for 50e :pac:

My best friend is mad into craft beer so I know he would like it...
