    Just run fookin 5k to quote a much better race organiser from these parts than myself, be it looped, out and back or point to point, run 5k and by 5k i mean 3.10 miles or more!!. I don't want to hear oh i ran a course that has a lot of trees, or my Garmin was acting up on the day. Run 3.10 miles or more or your result ain't counting. I won't bend anymore rules, ye know whats expected so go train.

    Nope, other than exploring routes. Base Training for DCM. However, my one session a week is targetted at 5k pace. Also I have to be done by 8am on the day.

    Making it up as I go along! Honestly this is a nice distraction and something to aim at after all the spring plans fell through. Found myself running aimlessly for a couple of weeks and having this is just nice to have sense of routine. Mind you, said routine isn’t specifically geared at getting myself a PB for this. Should have paid more attention to the race date a few weeks ago to achieve that!!!

    Took the opportunity to assess the suitability of the Kilbogget mile loop during this morning's easy run. Significant amount of pedestrian traffic (and other runners) even before 8 AM. Far from ideal. Aren't people supposed to be staying at home? :)

    Fixed times so they sort correctly (on desktop only). 17.05 becomes 17:05 for example.

    I think i have the route for mine, 6/7 loops of the local park. The turn on each end of it is sharp, not easy in the next% at all, but itll have to do. Looking forward to it.

    8x600 this morning. This short $hit is tough lads. At least I know what too fast feels like now. 2.02 to 2.05 when they were supposed to be 2.06 to .10

    Dusted down a 5k session I did before Jingle Bells last Christmas (My only 5k of the year :)). 1600/1200/1000/600/400/200 hard efforts. Recovery was half the distance of the effort. Coming off a marathon block, the faster stuff feels a bit weird.....but also good ;) I'm hoping the next TT will be longer than 5k though.....not liking Mellow Yellow's idea of a Mile TT :o
