    Stupid work.

Legion of Doom for me, enjoyed them more. I think Davey Boy is a bit over-rated if I'm honest.

Was never a fan, even though I was a huge fan of the Harts and associates.

Hearing Bret Hart's account of carrying Davey Boy through Summerslam 92 and the build-up to it was disheartening, but painted the Hitman in an even more awesome light considering it was a serious bout. A genuine match for the ages.

Enjoyed Sid's ability and matches more.

Ric has longevity and is an icon tbf, but his matches were poor technically imho.

    On balance, Ric.

Ric Flair, despite him being vastly over rated imo he's still better than Sid.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,366 ✭✭✭✭Kolido

Was never a fan of Flair, I did like Sid. Since this is a contest for favourite, I will go with SID, though I'm certain Flair will walk this.

    SID

Has to be the Nature Boy with all his stylin' and profilin'.
    The real world's heavyweight champion.
    Wooooo.

Sid could bash up prelim bums all day long but a crafty technical guy like slick Ric would tie him up in knots all day.

Ric Flair. 2d in overall importance to the Hulkster, made watching WCW enjoyable on Saturday a.m. in NYC with Dad and Uncle Alex when we switched between WWF and WCW.

    Sid, snore.

Ric Flair, was probably past his best when I started watching but always found him to be charismatic

Has there have been a similar poll for 2000-2010 or post 2000? Now that's something I'd be curious about

Ric Flair is the first man to hit the quarter finals. Who'll join him there? Stay tuned.

Andre the giant for the old school leotard and ridiculous feet
Also didn’t he relinquish his belt to the guy who should of won this competition Ted Dibiase? Classy

The Undertaker, it is his birthday today after all.

Tough call, this would've been a worthy Semi-Final or even Final match up. For my love of The Princess Bride, it's gotta be Andre The Giant for me.

    Anybody wanna Peanut?

Undertaker because he had one of the greatest entrance songs,Limp Bizkit!

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,949 ✭✭✭Dr Turk Turkelton

This one is too close to call for me so it's a double countout, counted fast for added controversy.
Apologies Omackeral for being no help.

Andre the Giant, the 8th wonder of the world. Very close call though.

Takers peak was arguably after the 90s. Early 90s taker was just a guy who wouldn't sell. Andre gets the vote for me.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,898 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

Take or Andre ? Taker only because remember watching him growing up.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 51,459 Mod ✭✭✭✭Necro

Taker, took a stupid gimmick and turned it into a legendary career.
