Cast was enough to get me thinking the story must be good

So then I needed to know who's directing. It's Morten Tyldum:

    Television
    Counterpart (2017)
    Jack Ryan (2018)
    Defending Jacob (TBA)

    Excellent opening three episodes.

A strong cast on fine form hopefully the story can stay strong for the remaining episodes.

Michelle Dockery's eyebrows are distracting as hell though.

Apple have a winner on there hands with this for me every episode so far holding up and the story is really good.

I'm only on episode 2 but am I to take it that
as the sex offender isn't using an Apple phone, he's the murderer? There was a story a couple of weeks back about Apple not allowing bad guys to use iPhones in films.

I have to say I really enjoyed this and the ending was probably the best way to finish it.

I know a lot won't like the ending however I though it was perfect and I hope they don't make a second season.

Michelle Dockery's performance from the start of the episode to the finish as class.

Top marks all around for this.

Finally finished this series. Although very well made and acted I couldnt recommend it to anyone as just felt it was way too bleak. All the cast were excellent.

    Well. That was just brilliant.

As far as I know, there's no follow-up book. And I'd assume any possible further seasons would need to be signed off by the original author. Can't see that happening until she herself decides to write a sequel.

The ending is ever so slightly but significantly different to the book, but seeing as the author was a consultant during the making of the series, I can see why they perhaps felt the need to do so.

I really enjoyed it, it's seldom that a series/film does a book justice, this one did.
With the exception of JK Simmons, none of the actors were really familiar to me.

    I'd recommend this.

Finished this last night. Not comfortable by any means but a good watch nevertheless.
Well played- even Pornstache from Orange is... did a good job here.

Quite a good show but I wasn't overly gone with the conclusion of it.

Bit of a slow start but picked up steam quickly and I ended up loving it. Thought the ending was brilliant! JK was awesome as usual.

Three episodes in. I like (so far) that it feels like it's testing the audience's loyalty. The little fecker, sorry - son - could have done it, but you're not really sure. Hope we see more of Cherry Jones.

I finished this last night. I thought it was excellent for the most part. I found Jacob to be very unlikeable. I wish the ending mirrored the book more.
