Bagenalstown - what is it like?

    Hi Everyone,
    Considering moving from Dublin to Bagenalstown (mainly because of the train station).
    What is living in the town like?
    Was kind of thinking of a town centre property just in terms of convenience.
    Would you recommend it as a place to live? Would I be better off outside the town ?
    I have two children under 10 so am also interested in hearing about schools, sports etc
    Any help and advice much appreciated
