We live in Dublin, my wife is heavily pregnant and will go into labour any day now. We don't have our own means of transport for taking her to hospital, I was wondering what are my options? I know we can call 999, but just in case, will any taxi service be available in the next few days? Any private ambulance we can call on ? Will much appreciate any suggestion.

I'm guessing that calling your hospital maternity ward would be the best idea. They probably have the best advice.
I don't know about private ambulances but it looks like most existing transport options are considered essential and will still be going:

    Transport Storage and Communication
    • land transport (for example, bus, rail and taxi services)
    • sea and air passenger services; ports and airports

    Ambulance
For Ambulance, I can't find something specific to COVID-19, just their "When to call 112/999" webpage:

Knowing what to do in a medical emergency and who to call can save lives.

    Life-threatening emergencies
Call 112 or 999 in a medical emergency, - when someone is seriously ill or injured.
They have a video here that suggests it's for Emergencies only: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSFmM47fz_k
but if you need it in an emergency, I think they'd still be there for you

    Taxi
For Taxis, you probably want to call a few well in advance to see if they can sort you out.
I don't think there's just one organisation to check with so checking your local ones would probably be a good idea.

Lynk are the only Taxi company I found with a COVID-19 webpage and it's just travel tips:
