Are mortgage loan offers still being issued/amended?

    Hello, are you still issuing full loan offers for people with approval in principle and approving amendments (downwards) to full loan offers? We had a full loan offer but then renogiated on the house price due to an issue found during the survey. We need to amend our loan offer to reflect the new amount - we now need to borrow slightly less, still the same percentage (80%). We have been waiting for the amendment to be approved for nearly two weeks. We are ready to close on the house we found. Can you let me know what your procedure is at the moment relating to amendments?
