Hi weve bought a new home in a new development and have signed the contracts as weve got mortgage approval but we need to get it valued first etc. But now that construction has stopped due to covid 19 we dont know where we stand as we may go over the 6 months since we got approval? Can you tell me is it 12 months we have to get all this sorted?
    Thanks

    Hi IanVW,

Thanks for getting in touch with us here on Boards.ie.

In this instance, it would be best to link in with your Case Manager. They will be more than happy to look into this further for you.

Our Mortgage Specialists can be contacted by phone on 01 611 33 33. The team is available Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.

    Thanks, Aisling

My fiance was onto our local branch and said under new eu directive it should be valid for 12 months. Not to worry about it. So that was reassuring

Have you any info on this EU directive please?
