BBC and ITV HD channels unwatchable on LG TV

Hi all,

Have the LG 49SM8200PLA and the BBC and ITV HD channels are unwatchable. All the SD BBCs and ITVs are fine - as are some HD channels such as Channel 4.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so have they managed to fix it?

If C4 HD is working & not BBC & ITV, this must be a satellite signal we're dealing with, not terrestrial.

So probably just poor signal caused most likely by dish misalignment.

Are you using the built in freesat tuner on the television?

Will definitely give that attenuator idea a go.

Update on this - it worked! Plugged in one attenuator and reduced the signal down to 30% - no joy. Plugged in a second and voila! Job done.
