    Can I apply to open a demand deposit account if I don't have an existing current account with bank of Ireland?

    Hi There, 

    Thanks for getting in touch with us here on Boards.ie 


    In order to open a Demand Deposit Account, it would be necessary to have a Bank of Ireland Current Account. 

    You can certainly apply for a Current Account with us, I have attached a link here with more information on the account and how to apply.
