Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Every business is terrified of being sued.

I broke a drawer in my freezer the other week...bit of plastic broke bounced up and cut my cheek...tiny little scrape.
I contacted them, they were terrified of being sued and wanted it investigated... I just wanted to buy a new drawer.
Bizarrely they are now giving me a new fridge freezer!

'Ill cut back to the end of the story' - reminds me of the weird live / present tense reporting of the 1916 rising from a few years ago

They might prefer to give the new fridge freezer because they want the broken one back to see the design flaw that caused the incident.
