Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Listening to LL and reading de posts as dey happen does be having me howling. My favourite from last week so far was "Ah Topsy is well remembered" Had to have a lie down after listening to the famous footballer Robbie on podcast.

Welcome to the best thread available on Boards!

15 seconds in and this facade of being caller driven is once again show for what it is.

Joe’s munchkins must be trawling RIP.ie for potential ‘callers’?

The absolute neck of the HSE and public health services to look down their noses at the private care. I deal with a number of private nursing homes through work, and they were near taking legal action at the HSE for buying off their care staff (with the taxpayer check book) to help them work with the Corona Virus issue.

Doreen forget about how good the nursing home is, give us more details of the death and funeral

There was a comedy show years ago, can't remember the name. The elderly mother's favourite past time was going through the death notices and updating the phonebook, by crossing out the people who had died.

For someone reason I imagine Joe has a similar hobby.

Something that might come out is a better rate of pay for carers. It's scandalously low-paid for the work involved.

Duffy will be signing mass cards next. It's almost like people crave his approval so that their dead relatives can rest in peace.

I worked for a pub owner who used to go straight to the death notices in the indo and plan his day between morning and evening services.
