    Hi folks,

I bought a nice TV and sonos beam off you just over a year ago, all good. Was thinking of adding 2x sonos little speakers as rear surround (one, one sl whatever).. Just had a quick question if you could help.

Room is more or less square. TV & beam on one wall, couch facing it, so that all makes sense, pop the 2x speakers behind the couch on either side.

However, I've another couch in the room which is at right angle to the TV, I tend to lie down flat on that couch a lot. TV is wall mounted with a slight swivel so that's grand, just wondering if rear speakers would actually make sound worse when in this seat? It's hard to explain so I've tried to draw it on my phone

    Hi wearsal gummage,

    Thanks for the post!

Your seating position shouldn't matter at all with the Sonos 5.1 system! Once you add the rear speakers you will need to use the Trueplay feature to tune the speakers to the room layout so if you change position to listen to the system you shouldn't notice a difference in the sound. If you do you can just retune it to the new listening position through the app!

We currently have stock of both the Sonos One Gen2 and the Sonos One SL in stock and ready to ship in both the black and white finishes and the only real difference in them is the One Gen 2 supports voice control while the One SL does not!

Let me know what you think!

    Kind regards

    David
