Do "old" people owe us one when this is all over?

    The old and the vulnerable have been protected by societies adherence to the lockdown.

    It struck me that people who were mid 20's in 2008 and maybe not on the ladder career or property wise could suffer a double whammy with the latest economic downturn as a result of the virus. Im thinking of people in their late 30's who could be set back years again because of this.

    Should the "grey vote" and older landlords etc take an empathetic approach with the younger members of society going forward in return for sacrificing our careers and businesses to keep them alive.
