So he deserves to be on a ventilator because he took the expert medical and scientific advice offered to him? Are you sure about that?

I don’t think anyone needed to rely on expert advice to know Cheltenham was a bad idea.

At that point everyone could see what was happening in Italy.

Trump is lowest of the low.

Bullet points he reads from ‐

Comment on the hard work all the team are doing
    Castigate governors
Remind everyone that there wasn't a pot to piss in from the last administration
    Big up hydra meds
Give distribution splits on ventilators sent to failed governors and get a few digs in - not doing their job properly
Economy economy economy, mention the great, beautiful economy before all this
Hint that the lockdowns will end soon and the beautiful economy will return
Remind folk of the early intervention of him stopping flights from china and europe, never done before and everyone toldhim not to
Follow up with it could have been worse and it could have been 2m+ dying (see above)

    If the opportunity allows-
Put some journalists in their place
    Democrat's Witch hunt

On a side note, im not sure how much longer Faucci will remain either getting the bullet or he develops a backbone and quits, how he stand on the same platform and endorse this dangerous idiot

The US seem to be relying heavily on this drug by the sounds of things.

Anyone know anything about this test Trump keeps going on about that gives a result in like 15 minutes?
Probably the new antibody test being trialled by a New York firm, cover here a few days ago.

Watching the US press conferences is something else. They go on and on and on, a couple of hours, but with very little info. Trump standing around like a goon spouting off generalisations. The doctors speak sense but are then completely undermined by the buffoon in charge. The people earlier saying our press conference was unprofessional should pay attention.

The President's role is VERY important.

He can pronounce and prompts other experts with that drug hydro.. Heidi.... Hyderabad....
I can't do it. God bless you Dr Donald. Great, tremendous grasp of the medical lexicon

That's why I'm curious about it - if it's so great why aren't they mass selling this worldwide
Found the RTE article on it
    https://www.rte.ie/news/coronavirus/2020/0328/1126943-coronavirus-lab-test/

The last paragraph is telling, its a bit dodgy but better than nothing.

Germany do this, they get people on oxygen earlier as per the article posted a while ago

I’ve often heard the German health care system is outstanding, I don’t know where they rank but it’s interesting that they are doing this and have a lower number of deaths per million than other countries.

But like everyone is saying there is so much data out there and the situation is ever evolving so hard to fathom anything now.

I am hearing the specific numbers of ventilators being sent to each state
I am hearing details on PPE
I am hearing stats on coronavirus from the states
I am hearing details of hospitals and beds.
I am hearing about pharmaceutical trailers
I am hearing about a multi agency response.

I am hearing lots of details.

Im very real and youve been very pessimistic from day one. Our numbers are pretty good and heading in the right direction. Theres very few liberal democracies doing better. Thats the reality.

Our numbers mean very little at this stage. Testing centres shut up last week because of a lack of tests. But all that is ok? People waiting for tests, that's all ok as well? Yeah sure, we're doing great.

Come back to me next week and tell me we're doing great when our hospitals are full.

You were calling that same advice socialism/communism not so long ago, give it up with the faux outrage.

Except bojo, he didn't want to be associated with eu medical advice or anything to do with the EU as it would undermine the brexit dream.

I didn't read the article earlier. I missed it.

Does Ireland have any plans to treat people with oxygen at an early stage?
Hopefully, the results from Italy on using CPAP were very encouraging with some 30% of patients avoiding the need for ICU intubated ventilator treatment.

Bit of egg on Boris's face now because he was acting like he was over the worst of it in his video updates. I assume he's getting the best of medical care, though. But one good thing that might come out of his suffering with this is that he'll know that Covid-19 is no joke for many people and he'll be less tempted to be cavalier in directing the nation's approach.

    Really

One good thing would be if you'd think before you posted that kind of hateful & ignorant crap.

Boris has only ever acted on this crisis when given the best advice by his chief medical advisor Sir Patrick Vallance, so you may also wish Vallance has some suffering too!

it's all smoke to cover the fact they (Trump) started too late. He has single handedly overseen a genocide of his own people.

He now uses the 'daily trump show' to cover his tracks...

Any other country, he would be removed

He mentions the number of countries each day, think his strategy is to scatter blame from him.

Trump new tactic, 180 countries are dealing with this, making out we are all in the same place.

Like I said, the doctors give great information. Trump stands there starting sentences with "I think", "I hope", "We don't know". It's similar to most leaders but some people seem to think the USA are dealing with this better than other countries.

Those waiting on tests, the test won't make a lick of difference if they are positive for covid19. It's a test, not a cure. I wish people realise that.

The government would be looking at the hospital admissions are their guide to any new measures to take.
Likewise, any tests taken and processed would be from various days, we (the public) get all those results in a single day. The government and the experts behind them, would know the date the swab was taken and when it was processed etc... They have a ton more info that we have.

If Boris helped in any way to bring this on himself, it was through his apparently cavalier attitude to social distancing in the early days of the pandemic, saying he was going to keep shaking hands and that. Gave the impression he was convinced the UK PM couldn't get it and if he did it wouldn't be too bad.

Dr. Ai Fen, in Wuhan, was first to examine patients with Flu symptoms that were not improving back in December. Dr. Ai Fen tested the virus and found there to be SARS Corona Virus. She shared a photo of her report with another doctor for review, Dr. Li Wenliang (the well-known hero who died providing information on line) She's has now vanished and is missing. What a fcuking coincidence.
