Number updated to match today's report
I believe that there is up to 3 week delay from someone being infected to it being reported
if you were infected on the 16th and take 4-5 days to become sick then 3-4 days to get a test and 7 days for the results we will only start to see the lock down affect numbers slowly this week

we are not beating this yet we need the number to keep dropping
if we stay at 7% in 3 weeks infected would be 24K

Some people were trumpeting success when the numbers were still just blowing up, so probably best not to read too much into it.


I've given up looking at case numbers, and just look at death numbers now. My optimism may lag a little as a result :P

We have testing back log, results delays and lost swabs, we need to up the testing imho

Well he said that so far it has only been indicated that 4 of the 16 had underlying conditions, that's not to say that "only" 4 had underlying conditions.

But how many of the 5364 recovered today?

Eventually the number of recovered each day exceeds the new and the number of live cases begins to recede, as we pass the peak.

That are known. That doesn't mean only 4. All 16 could have had underlying conditions, they're just not known.
