Cuomo's seems like a good guy. He's very articulate and has his head screwed on from what I've seen.It will be interesting to see where he goes from here.

The fact is the Americans for once had a really really good option

Your statement is factually incorrect, though. Bernie was not presented to 'the Americans.' He was presented to the Dems and they shafted him. Big difference.

But go ahead, condemn 'Americans' en masse.

They wouldn't give him the time of day if he ran independent so lets not hide behind the democrats. There should be a significant push for him if they truly thought they could get the numbers but Americans don't want him. Even running as a democrat he would barely get over the line due to the significant amount of states who only vote red regardless of whether they put a chimp on the card (they did and he won).

If 36% call themselves independent and a significant number of democrats would vote for him them he should walk home as an independent but thats not going to happen.

This is unbelievable. What is the fool playing at??! I don't think he actually is capable of understanding the potential ramifications of his own tweets.

Some of that arsenal wouldn’t look out of place on the battlefields of Afghanistan.

No they're just going to shoot sensible people. Slack jawed yokels with guns are gonna fight for a freedom that no one took away.

He's the obvious front runner for the Dem nomination in 2024 - on the condition that (the turning 82 years old) Biden isn't running as the sitting president. Cuomo will be turning 67 then - that has become young now!

I only discovered today that he used to be married to RFK's daughter.

Think the way things are going in the states we might see escalated tensions in some states as the lockdown needs to be reintroduced leading to martial law leading to the emergence of the NRA supporting gun wielding maniacs "defending their freedoms".

It's been simmering for a long time. The Pandemic might be the catalyst.

Posted this 8 hours ago. Didn't think tweets by POTUS would be the catalyst for the emergence of the maniacs.

What he says in this evenings TV address could could fuel the fire.

    Interesting times.

    Cuomo would have my vote.

It's great to see someone in the States call out Trump publicly on his BS.

Cuomo will be a red flag to a bull with Trump.

This Virus has only begun in America, I think it will be shocking.

Imagine if Europe was in one block with total freedom to drive to any state.

They are probably told to do this as a sign of worship to the King of the USA...

Anyone else notice his slurring speech at the end of a lot of sentences?

Imagine living in a country where one individual held that much power, with what seem to be almost no functioning checks and balances?

Party politics and philosophical points of view aside, their system of power is far, far, far too concentrated in one person and relied on an assumption that said person would be and upstanding, balanced, thoughtful embodiment of statesmanship. Even the adjective “presidential” said it all.

What?! Comparing the numbers of death to COVID versus the lives lost in the American Civil War?

    What?!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,926 ✭✭✭dogbert27

What?!!! Other great countries say off the record to him what a great country America is compared to themselves.

That wouldn't be a debate. That would just be Trump throwing personal insults and acting like a petulant child. I've never seen him engage in a coherent conversation or even stay on a single point.

There's no underlying data to the nonsense he spouts.

    He's telling fibs.
