Cost of an engineers report?

Hi,

Cat C write off so I need an engineers report if I want to put it back on the road.
I'm trying to do the math here, how much does a report run out at?

Probably depend on location as I don't think there is a set fee.

Also unlikely you'll be able to get it done anytime soon.

Engineers report is only a few hundred quid. Something o get done regularly for modifications and sometimes repair. I got one done for my valeter recently who had imported a car for himself that turned out to be a cat c and also had airbags fitted and the nct wouldn't pass it without a report, from memory it was around €200.

What part of the country are you in? You might get pointed in the right direction by someone
