Ooh my lush stuff finally arrived. Briefly thought I had Covid-19 when I couldn't smell it through the box! :D But it was just packaged really well to stop the soaps breaking. I got loads (well himself offered to pay so I had to take advantage! ;) ) Can't wait to use it all. I haven't shopped in so long! I was completely out of face wash and moisturiser. I've had to use men's ones!!! Ew. :D
I have to order some books and stationary soon. That'll be another box of wonder and joy!!

Fabulous day even if you've nowhere to go, it's nice to have some natural vitamin D.
I've to try stop buying online but it's something to look forward getting something new.

The dopey cnut who blocked me on Facebook (ran in the last general election too)....I bumped into him in the local supermarket and I gave him a huge, loud salute, much to his annoyance....

    I enjoy being a bollix :D

I’m supporting factory workers in Bangladesh :/
Because complaining loudly completes me, I messaged the piercing company this morning to tell them I almost choked on a ball yesterday. I outlined what had happened and she messaged me back and said “Sorry that you’re unhappy, what exactly is the issue?” Um the fact it came undone twice in my mouth last week almost breaking my tooth, and then slid down my throat without a bye or leave yesterday. She said “it’s important to check your piercing daily”. I just said “I’ve had my tongue pierced since January 2007. Don’t tell granny how to suck eggs”.
She replied saying if I sent her the order number she would replace it but i was over it by then, I’m a firm believer in getting things off your chest :D

Now I’m sitting outside in the garden with a water bottle with mint cucumber lemon and lime in it hoping it off sets my pint glass of kopperberg strawberry and lime

Out on the balcony after demolishing dinner and nearly demolishing a colleague on the other end of the world. When you deal with him, you immediately understand that Australia started as a penal colony!

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Have you ever gone right through a crusty one? I crunched through one as a kid and was submerged up to the ankle in the soft filling. It's forever burnt into my memory.

random question, but anyone know how many 'thanks' on boards we're limited to per day?

The day was far too hot for me but this evening is lovely. There's a fabulous refreshing wind blowing. Took advantage by pegging out all the washing for an overnight airing (apart from my vast granny pants, which are airing discretely on the airer in the spare room. I prefer to spare the neighbours that sight!

@Crazy Cat : What takeaway did you get? Loving the new moniker BTW.

@Kowloon: Yes I had that particular experience of giving myself a cow sh1t foot spa as a child. I also managed to fall back into one and plop my ar$e straight into it. Utterly appalling experiences for a townie child. My culchie cousins had little sympathy for my urbanite delicacy, though, and jeered heartlessly at poor little Sardonikitten

Thanks sardonicat :D was meaning to change it for a while

We got an italian takeaway, we're celebrating a special occasion :)

I had chicken goujons and a few chips. My folks had spaghetti carbonara but sadly they weren't thrilled with theirs. I didn't finish mine so my folks finished my leftovers :D

I tried to walk across a crunchy topped dung-hill when I was about 10.
Went up to my shoulders in it .
    Not nice :(

As majestic as that cat is I'd hate to live with it out in the country. I have one longhair and I spend quite a bit of time pulling bits of plants and twigs off his coat when he decides to bring them in. He also gets matted hair in areas he can't reach, like behind his ears.

Off today, but on a 24 hour shift tomorrow (which kinda puts a dent on today).

Had a crap day yesterday. Lots of things went titties up, my electric oven blew up (I'm not bad with a multi meter and finding my way around an appliance) traced it to a thermal cut out block and now for the life of me I can't get the blasted door back on.

Then last night I'd arranged to meet a few people for a swim where I'd never been before, I'd read there was dangerous currents. Well not one of them thought to call or text that they weren't coming down, not knowing the stretch of water I left without a swim, and feeling pissed off.. Hoping today is better.

So, this morning I'd to drop one of the dogs to the vet for scheduled surgery on a growth. She's had cancer twice so fingers crossed this isn't cancer again.

Now instead of enjoying the sun I'm waiting for the vet to call with the results of her op and blood work, and YouTubing the crap out of how to put a Zanussi oven door back on lol
