Yup. Doing some study in the office and absolutely frozen. Can hear himself lighting the stove in the other room though so I'll stick with this for another while and then go warm myself.

Happy with how productive this day has turned out.

Doubly happy that I've kept my mind occupied.

Just had a HSE/GOV.IE style meeting here to make sure we are all on the same feckin page. These pair needed a swift kick up the arse! Ms G. has given up on school work. Mrs G, is in bed until 11am at the earliest most days. I'm up early, organising finances, shopping/delivery and planning/cooking all meals, while worrying about the mid to long term work situation. I even feed the bleedin cat everyday.:D

Serious reality check here tonight. I've gone Nuclear.:eek:

Howdy all!

Working from home today - a very productive day and I got everything I planned to do done. Yaay!! Finally getting the hang of the Zoom software so that helps!

Off to get some needed groceries in - the usual...milk, bread, bog roll (if I can find any lol)

Taking a half day off work from home tomorrow - will be building a big LEGO set I ordered online.

I spent many a night with Norwegian Air pilots in uniform having nice food and beers if they were finished a roster. Many a pilot just had food and went home still in uniform, but I can confirm that many of them enjoyed lots of beers with a few days off afterwards with the blazer flung over a chair and the tie in the pocket. Good memories.:D

Grem that happened me this evening with The Witcher. At the end of the episode I said to himself "finally this show is getting places!!" , Quickly followed by.. "wait! What!?! There's no more episodes!?!"

Also, this is weird but I’ve been sleeping a lot more than I ever have and I’m finding my hair is growing really fast. So strange! It’s the only (positive) change since covid I’ve made and I’m really seeing the difference

The same here. Still some sleepless nights but not so many. And every day I have an appetite, enough for 3 meals a day which I could never manage before. For the first time I understand why it bothers people if they have to rush out without breakfast in the morning. I had no idea how much it can nag at you if you skip a meal.

I had a shorter layer of hair where I used to have extensions in, that has grown 3 or 4 inches, unsure if it had started before lockdown though. I think I've just entered the anagen phase after a few years of stalled/slow hair growth but something else is definitely encouraging it too.

Ugh. Last day of freedom before a week of work!!

Should do some batch cooking I suppose to bring my dinner with me everyday.......
Hmmmm, all I think of is curries & chilli.... What else can you cook in bulk & freeze??
