Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You would need to be very accurate with your measurements to get a true 35N output.

What type of mixer would you be using? How much are you putting down?
Down here in west cork a m³ of 35N readymix is heading for 90E
If mixing a m³ myself the gravel is about 18E a tonne(20tonne load delivered). Cement by the bag is about 5.70. Cheaper by the pallet at about 5.40.
A m³ of 35N concrete will take about 2.25 tonne of gravel and about 14 bags of cement. Ball park figure 75 for cement and 40 for gravel. Water, fuel, time etc are extras. Readymix will win out unless it's a small awkward slow job.

Get it delivered, working it out yourself and the labour/time involved is dearer .

Unless it is a tiny job mixing it yourself is only messing.
Aside from being dearer materials wise, you waste a heap of tone and effort bolloxing and fooling around with mixers and materials. And unless you are gauging out the materials very accurately, the quality and consistency between batches will be a roulette game.
