Missing HF-LF connector

    Hi,
Apologies for the newbie question: I have a pair of Celestion speakers for about 18 yes and they've seen a few house moves. I've recently rescued then from the attic to set them up again and notice that the brass connector from the HF-LF input on one of the speakers is missing (will be obvious if I can upload the photo). This is definitely affecting the sound quality.

Could I just link then with a piece of cable? I contacted Celestion to see if I could get one but they aren't answering.

    Speaker cable will work fine.
