Do you know the date when all workers will be back at work? Has to be open ended.

Not all workers will be back in work- the situation will evolve- but a lot of the services sector posts could take a year or two- or three- to get back to the same level again........

The manner in which the measures are phrased- and the open ended nature of them- is a mutualisation of property rights and a diminution of ownership rights. People are willing to accept this diminution as a short term measure- but there has to be some indication of a pathway out of the current crisis, how it is to be measured, and updates on how we are progressing in achieving those goals.

Note- I am looking at this in a holistic manner- we need a roadmap to get people back to work- but only when it is prudent to do so. But we critically need to spell out what the roadmap is, how we are progressing on the roadmap, and the milestones that we will encounter and achieve on our way.

Things aren't going to be the same again (possibly ever)- but we will have a new 'normal'. We just don't know when.
