    Hi,

Opened a BOI Mortgagesaver account back in november. My direct debits have been as follows

    2nd December
    2nd January
    2nd February
    2nd March
    2nd April

Next one is due on 2nd May or thereabouts.
I don't have a BOI current account but have got mortgage approval from BOI as a first time buyer and expect to drawdown in May.

How and when am I eligible for the 2,000Eur mortgagesaver cashback? I don't want to withdraw the deposit until I'm sure i'm following the correct process.

I assume after the next payment goes into the account in may, I'll have 6 consecutive payments. Do the funds need to remain in the account any longer than that or can I proceed with my mortgage drawdown? Do I need to let the bank know or will this bonus be paid automatically?

    Thanks.

Hi, just had one other query on this. The mortgagesaver plus is available to BOI current account customers. As I am a PTSB customer, if I were to open a BOI current account before I drawdown, would I be eligible for the 1% cashback in 5 years (assuming I meet all other criteria)?

    Hi there,

Thanks for bearing with us. We have checked this out with the relevant team and to answer your question yes- if you open a bank of Ireland current account before drawdown you can qualify for the additional 1% Cashback in 5 years assuming that all other criteria is met.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks Jen
