New lightning cable

Hi, looking to get a new charging cable for iPhone 8. Needs to be 2m long and durability and reliability/quality are the most important. Also is it worth getting an iPad cable or is the difference that significant?
Usually just pop into the shop and get advice there but because of the lockdown , will buy online. So many options it’s hard to know what’s good or bad. Any advice?? Thanks.

Go to Amazon and search for Anker. I have bought many different types of their cables always top quality at an affordable price

Anker cables are the best third party cables. Try and go for the braided kind of cable, they’re more durable and are better if you have kids.

There’s no difference in an iPhone and iPad cable unless you have either a really old iPad (iPad 1/2/3) or an extremely new iPad (Pro with faceID unlock).

+1 for Anker and Belkin, but a thumbs up for IKEA's lightning cable too - similar quality to the above two brands (delivery available while their shops are closed).
Their wireless charger (for €5) is great too (needs a USB-C cable - theirs are 0.4m for €2, or 1.5m for €6)
