Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

Just wondering if this is easy enough to set up. It's a gift for an elderly relative.

Would they need to get an additional sim card and contract from their provider?

Could they use a tethering app on their phone and then link into that using WiFi on the tablet?

    Anyone any experience with it?

I bought my 5 year old the Galaxy A version out back then, she is an expert in using it and with a robust case it is still working perfectly for her needs night on 5 years later. Would highly recommend as an affordable tablet esp for light use like, netflix, ebooks, youtube and the like.

    Not necessarily.

Depending on their network, they could tether from their phone to the tablet. Most networks support this.
