Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Champdogs vs IKC/KC - Opinions?

Hello again - On a roll here...

We hope to get another Shih Tzu pup in the future. I'm thinking about contacting a couple of breeders through the IKC here and the KC at home in the UK where I'm from.

But I've also seen posts about Champdogs on here. Has anyone ever used this site? Are the breeders reputable and are the dogs health tested and the bitches checked to make sure they don't have too many litters?

    TIA :)

You can see if the bitch is health tested as they verify the results via the KC on Champdogs. Reputable breeders certainly do advertise on there but you do need to sort the wheat from the chaff

The IKC don't actually recommend breeders, all they have is contact details for the various breed clubs.

Join the breed clubs FB page and go through the breed club. The golden retriever club will only recommend breeders who health test their dogs.
