    No, should be the same.
The brains of 3d rendering are performed by the console.

It'll just output the final image to the TV as normal, over HDMI.

You don't know what ray tracing means. For every pixel on screen there's a ray of light traced back to each light source like a lamp or a 'portal' (window). This is done on the graphic processor of the console and has nothing to do with the TV. The next generation of consoles won't have it or maybe use some simplified version of it for shadows, 3D sound.
TVs are for normies to begin with as there's always some processing lag. Get a computer, a computer monitor (say G-sync) and connect using a DP cable (high bandwidth, can push 4K at high frame rates).
You can send a network packet from there to Cambodia faster than the image from your console to the TV because of lazy programming in the TV factory.

BTW the best type of gaming monitor is a CRT because there's no digital processing of the image, the VGA output (say xbox 360 still has a native VGA output) is directly drawn on screen with no latency.
A lot of guys carry CRT monitors with them to Quake tournaments.
