Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Going down as an OG, but great to see Ali making those runs.

Parker has these lads well drilled for us

Long balls because we do poorly watching over our shoulders

Pressing on the clearances because we always put it right into danger

We'll rely on the front four just pinning them back a bit and putting another one away, but they are stopping supply quite well

Jesus the clearances are just invitations for trouble, landing right outside the box every time

Much rather we just aimed for kane tbh

Hardly enough for a pen tbh

Twice harry had flung himself to the ground without cause, but to do with with a shot on is just not admirable at all tbh

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,700 ✭✭✭Glebee

If its not a peno surely a yellow for kane

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,216 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

Definite dive, but not sure if they can give yellow's on VAR checks.

    Should be able to though.

Ah not a yellow, he was brushed but he made sure his feet gave way

Tell you what the ref would want his yellow out for them at this stage tho, several late challenges in a row on the turn here

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,428 ✭✭✭MrKingsley

Hardly enough for a pen tbh

And Hojbjerg v Everton in the cup was ? The inconsistency of VAR is pathetic.

It's not a terrible challenge but he's tripped him from behind. It's a peno all day for me

That could be a red Doherty tho

    Edit lol no, lookman booked

The feckin cameras are makin this a hard watch!

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,216 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

If Salah or Fernandes did that, we'd be calling him a cheat.

First camera angle it's clear as day that he's clipped

    Agreed with kiith

I dont think the hojbjerg comparison holds up at all, he clipped a guys foot and clearly caused a trip for me

Kane felt that and pulled his own legs up underneath him,

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,700 ✭✭✭Glebee

Twice kane had fallen easy so far in this game. If it waa salah we would be complaining. Kane needs to cut it out

Is heading practice a non runner these days? I can head a balloon with more power and accuracy than either Kane or Son heads a football.

Kane felt that and pulled his own legs up underneath him,

The foot he is going to plant gets clipped and he's tripped.

One thing that I hate about VAR is that it has encouraged diving. Players can't get yellows for it if it gets checked so there's absolutely no deterrence.

This was not a dive though. He gets clipped and its a pen.

But anyway we'll agree to disagree.

Here's to a second half where we stay on the front foot

Sanchez has had the ball on the right twice with a bit of time

First time he honest to god just watched it trickle out in front of him

Second time he backheeled it into a fulham player, of whom i am pretty sure he was totally unaware

Sanchez, mark yr ****in man and forget the football gullad

    Bale with a silly booking

Some positives but some really glaringly poor performances in that first half, very disjointed and a mess at the back

Should be level all day, from a championship left back walking past four men ffs

Bales tackle was an absolute shocker. If the Fulham player has his leg planted it's a whole other story. Gets away with it cos he's a forward i think

A bit of Spurs trivia for you lads.

Craven Cottage that you see in the top left corner of the pitch.

When Jimmy Greaves got married to His wife (Irene) they had no place to stay and had to live in that little Cottage until they found a suitable to live :)

=(:-) Me? I know who I am. I'm a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude (-:)=

Twas a bad one, and absolutely needless

Id be looking for a lot more from him covering doherty in the second half, and that wont help

He was probably a Chelsea player at the time too so it would have been very handy location wise. Nice one

Nobody in midfield showing for bale, hes getting ****e served to him by doherty and squeezed out each time, and hes getting frustrated

Soft fk in bad position leads to two good chances

Fulham are very likely to be relegated, just for a context reminder

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,216 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

Some of our passing has been really poor.

Its very disjointed on and off the ball again.

Amazing how quickly they just stop functioning as a team again

Alli has had very little involvement since the goal, and hes not working very hard off the ball imo

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,791 ✭✭✭✭tom1ie

    Ffs! Just inviting them on.

Passing from the back suicidal, and for absolutely no cause

sanchez recovers well but that pass went past him like he was a ghost in the first place, he hasnt even tried to mark his man all day

Stink of draw off this one, and no leaders again

Keane was completely fair to this group of players imo

    They should score again

    And there it is

Absolute cowardice from the players out there tbh

    Absolutely laughable decision.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,791 ✭✭✭✭tom1ie

Very lucky to get away with that.
There going to score if we keep inviting them on.

Sanchez, unmarked, no pressure, clears the ball three yards

    Pathetic

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,428 ✭✭✭MrKingsley

Now if that isn't a wake up call I don't know what is.

Have we learnt nothing this season

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,216 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

VAR is a complete and utter joke.

Never a handball, be furious if that was us

If toby alderweireld doesnt grab his line and move them ten yard up the pitch he is no leader, we are begging for this

Lucky, fcuk me, that sanchez clearance is like something you would see at u10s.

Think the players have been told to do this. If these weren't the half time instructions surely we'd have seen a sub by now

All game, sanchez and lloris putting the ball ten yards away, its an actual disgrace that theyve been allowed carry on like that all season and it not addressed

Mitrovic on to fûck us up.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,428 ✭✭✭MrKingsley

I suppose the only reassuring thing is that we know it's going to end 1-1.

How this team can just flip flop from game to game or worse from half to half is ridiculous

Nobody wants to do anything dirty. That ball could bounce five times anywhere on the pitch and a spurs shirt wouldn't be near it

Everton cup game all over again
