Pleasantly surprised by how players are showing for short passes so far

Thats a rotten chop from mctominay and id want the ref to have him on a very short leash for a second yellow because that was dangerous

Man U are just biding time and waiting for the inevitable mistake from us which duly came only for Dier to be saved.

Its a clear, unnecessary strike to the face and i had no complaints when lamela got a second yellow for stupidity like that recently.

And im 100% serious that he should also be off. His first booking was borderline red and he should have been told then that another step out of line was him off.

Commentators on whatever station i'm watching is saying its a definite foul, including a former ref. Not a yellow/red, but a foul.

If that situation was reversed i tell you it wouldn't even be a talking point anywhere but in this thread

Ha ha. My stream is delayed. It was in reference to the incident where Hojbjerg was on his ass in the box trying to clear the ball.... Gave me flashbacks to the Dier penalty incident a few weeks ago.

Id rather talk about positives and worries

Positives:

Movement and one touch passing through middle much improved

Tracking and defensive work much improved

Kane is quietly brilliant again

Son grew into it, ndombele is doing the dirty work

Worries:

Dier was absolutely mugged for the goal and we will sit back and invite more

Playing from the back is too risky and they go straight to lumping it under pressure anyway

Ref may try to even it up and theyll expect it

Reguilon asleep there

Lucas working so hard against shaw

Hojbjerg left ankle again, seems prone to twisting it

Lloris should have caught that one.

He has a lovely pure strike of a ball tho, he doesnt give you any hint and uses his natural strength

Funny thing to note but kane doesnt always help a player out with his movement in those situations

Get ndombele away from a tracking role as he hasnt legs at this stage of a game

But he has a lot to offer while kane, lucas and son are running so well

Feel like we will go on to lose this one as we grant them better and better possession and dont put in the midfield shift

By rights we concede there, good ball from.shaw but completely open on the left again and reguilon is ignoring his responsibilities

Shaw rightly booked and has been niggling all day, id keep lucas and son runnin at him and mctominay because we have their numbers defensively

Out of interest have we seen any replays of the lunge on aurier as he shot a few minutes ago
