But, jesus, that was a tough watch. The first 30 mins of the second half was atrocious.. Coventry got at us so easy, literally one pass and they were in. 8 changes felt like at least 2 too many. Sarr seems way off his best form.

The only positive for me was kulu- I think he changed the game when he came on and seemed to spark something in Maddison as well.
Taking Solanke off was bizarre.

It looks like the players have lost faith in this system now.

And we will persist with the system because Ange won't change it.

Brentford will probably beat us on Saturday. Unlike Ange, Thomas Frank is a savvy tactician and his side really put it up to City last weekend.

don’t think ange will be there come Xmas . If ya took the first 10 games out of last season which is beginning to look more and more like freak stuff it’s being average at best since . Next few games will tell a tale if that dosent give them a boost nothing will. I have to say I have severe doubts though .

Its really hard to be positive after watching that last night. I want Ange to be a success but the more I hear him the more I think this is not going to work. Its the same of same old that we have gotten so used to.

What's the alternative lads. Sack Ange and then some other fella comes in and gets the boot in 18 months time.

The new guy won't fancy some.of the recent signings so it will be another summer of players in and out - rebuild, transition etc.

It was only 18 months ago that we were crying about the club's lack of identity and the loss of our football philosophy. We might as well dig in for 3 seasons minimum and see if something changes. We can't keep sacking and recruiting managers, coaches and the backroom guys who do the transfer deals.

It's sh*t but we may grin and bear it this season and see what happens next year.

And just everything i read, watching him on the sideline during games and every interview i see - I just wonder is he different in front of the players at training, in the dressing room - i just wonder how he could motivate/inspire/bollock a team? His mumbling, no eye contact …..

Seems like the fans who were thinking as Levy didn't back Ange in the summer it was because he was beginning to have doubts about Ange might have a point .Ange surely couldn't have been happy with the buiness done .Also can't for the life of me understand why Timo seems to be one of his go to subs , he is awful .

Only got to see the second half and that was as bad a 45 minutes as I can remember. We were atrocious, actually looked like a bunch of strangers rather than a professional football team. Coventry were far the better team and should have been two or three up by the time we woke up. Kulu was the gamechanger. A lot of bad performances but that guy Werner, in particular, is stealing a living. Ange seems to be in denial on how bad it was based on his post match press conference. I've seen better, more organised defending in schoolboy football. I want him to succeed but I feel like it's an uphill battle from here.

Ange is famously an fantastic motivator with the players, there are numerous testimonies from players he has coached attesting to that.

Jeez Richarlson is turning out to be another disastrous signing. He's missed so many games through injury and looks like he's going to be out for a few weeks yet. Not an Ange signing but another big money signing that hasn't worked out. Unlike Ndombele though at least he puts the effort in when he does play.
