Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Clearances very poor, giving it back to them immediately without any reason nor pressure.

    Not a great start

Chaos from a free kick to the back post

I think we have a theme here

Barely in the game at all. Passing is awful, and nothing is working well. Leicester more up for this it seems.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,722 ✭✭✭golfball37

Another lifeless effort so far. Can’t keep getting away with this

    Passing is awful

A yard slow to everything, even closing down

Very leggy performance, i see early subs here

    Good counter there mind

I mean if we are drawing them in, we deserve an Oscar

Thats an orange card on kane there

Lo Celso having very mixed game, three brilliant slide tackles but passing bad, tracking runs not great and caught in possession in bad areas a few times

Hope he picks it up, he and ndombele is some potential of a pairing

Very good play from aurier leads to a break, resulting setpiece kane heads over on the stretch

    Better

Asking for a pen but arm tight to body imo

Giving up soft chances, midfield are not cycling the ball at all well, no zip

    Son is playing very poorly,

And i think var might give a pen for an aurier idiot challenge here

    That is ridiculous from Aurier

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,216 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

Wtf was Aurier at there? He's been great lately, but that's completely brainless.

To be fair, everyone has been utter ****e today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 565 ✭✭✭el_gaucho

Aurier back to his old self.

Whichever player pulled out of an easily won header just before that is also badly at fault

Second to everything, from son all the way back

Only dier, alderweireld, hojbjerg and kane atvall near the level

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,722 ✭✭✭golfball37

Almost a relief conceding tbh. Let’s see how serious they are now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,702 ✭✭✭Glebee

Not watching but now we see what Spurs are made of and if they have the gutts for a title challange

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,019 ✭✭✭davycc

Bale on for ndombele half time sub

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,019 ✭✭✭davycc

Aurier missing in action possible second goal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,722 ✭✭✭golfball37

Forget it. We’ll be lucky to be top four with these tactics. Fine against Liverpool and City but we have to be able to take game to other teams. We are not good enough defensively for that

Good break there with var. please God it wakes us up

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,019 ✭✭✭davycc

Gio off injury Lucas on to save our muck efforts.. coys

Tactics an issue but as i said all through the latter days of pochball (when tactics were also wrong) theres no tactic says pass it poorly, lose every breaking ball and be sure to make stupid mistakes in defence.

A manager can be blamed for sustained performances like this only when he doesnt droo players for the above.

    Mourinho will.

    Un ****ing believable

Sissoko at fault for both goals tbh, absolutely awful in two headers

Not a tackle, not an ambitious pass, not a show for the ball, not a jump for a header

I dont know what people want mourinho to do for the players to make the above happen, we can talk all day about formation and approach and if the above is what the execution is like its all nonsense to even consider the tactics on the list of things to be addressed

There are players out there today that should be where Dele is at present. Back of the queue to get near this shirt again.

Deserve to be 3 down at this stage. Their 2nd should never have been disallowed. As bad as we've played since the Everton game on day 1. Not really sure what our game plan is to be honest...whatever it is hasn't worked at all. Leicester have had Kane and Son in their pocket all day long. Midfield non-existant and defence sloppy.

All round awful performance from everyone, management included.

Our playmakers are Dier and Alderweireld

Its very very like the last nine months of Poch

Absolute lack of runs, or willingness to take the ball

Leicester should be ahead by more.

Handball there a lot less ridiculous than the one that cost us two points against Newcastle

Hojbjerg hasn't shown once for his centre halves today

That handball was when the referees were going over the top on any kind of handball. They've long since changed their attitude.

    Back to square one.

Lucas has shown since he came on why he starts over better players

Showing, running, crashing into 60/40's and taking on his man

To absolutely no avail but jesus christ at least hes trying

Top four and a trophy lads

Expect to see the players who started today to be looking on for a few games, please god. Long term improvement demands consequences for that type of showing, "talent" be damned

Zidane was right about Bale too.

Worst performance of the season, second best in every department. Lucky to finish up 2 nil. Couldn't actually pick anyone out who had a good game, Toby probably the best of a bad bunch. What ever about counter attacking but in the first half we actually couldn't string 3 passes together when we got the ball, continuously gave it back to a very good, well organised Leicester side. Didn't start with any urgency and allowed them dictate and dominate the game. For me that should be the end of Aurier, another absolutely needless penalty.
I thought he had learnt his lesson from last year but clearly is liable to do that type of thing in every game. I know Doherty hasn't been great to date but I think we now need to go with him, a much better option IMO.
Moura needlessly losing the ball on the build up to the second goal and then the standing off of Albrighton to allow him time to pick his cross for the second goal was criminal.
We'll find out in how he reacts to this defeat (his first really big setback this season IMO) whether Jose has actually changed or not.

    Taxi for Bale?

Aurier has to be dropped, his brainfarts are demoralising the whole team.

=(:-) Me? I know who I am. I'm a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude (-:)=

Disappointing but is Anyone actually surprised

When ever you need it most has a Spurs team delivered, in fact I’d say today is typical

And would anyone bet against Stoke doing a number on Wednesday night

    Team needs freshening up
I’d start with our two forwards

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,702 ✭✭✭Glebee

    Spurs will beat Stoke.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,442 ✭✭✭Charliebull

They will if they turn up

Best chance of a trophy this season

Could be Jose was protecting him after the abuse he got on social media after the Liverpool game

League Cup final now on 25th April. Hoping to get fans in is reason.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,702 ✭✭✭Glebee

Dont think there a hope of fans being back to football anytime soon with the shambles that there seem to be making of covid over there.

    Or that week of performances!

If Chelsea hold on we'll have gone from 1st to 6th in two games. To be fair, two defeats against the current top two. We need a good win tomorrow.

17.30 ko for Stoke V THFC.

    Its on Sky.

They have to choose between an untried 19yr old or 37 yr old Andy Lonergan on goal.
No Obi Mikel for them also.
