Ndombele on the bench, but it's a good attacking lineup.

First time here in a while lads. Hope you are all well.

Haven’t watched any game since it’s started back up.

Just wondering though if this is Jose saying that Sanchez and Dier are his CBS for next season and that he wants them to get used to playing together?

I know he wasn’t perfect but Toby was comfortably our best CB so far this season

    Go away! :pac:

Poor defending there. Son mostly at fault for me. Left Davies completely on his own.

    And it's level. Ok then.

Mental that they disallowed that goal. Pushed over, and it hits his hand on the way down. No free kick either.

    ****ing ridiculous.

That is fcuking ridiculous. Moura is fouled and ball kicked against his arm. Morons,

Typical ****e defending and a crazy decision on goal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,733 ✭✭✭Glebee

That is a complete load of bollix, who is making these decisions. If anything it was a free in.

  • Registered Users Posts: 507 ✭✭✭MuPpItJoCkEy

Got to say, Spurs robbed there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,198 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

Decision was 100% correct - the problem is the rule, not the refs. It's the worst rule in football right now, makes absolutely no sense.

Norwood elbows son on a yellow. Where is var.

Why not give the foul before the hand ball....

No it’s not. It can only be a handball violation if they handle the ball deliberately. This was not deliberately as it was not done on purpose.

Intent doesn't matter anymore. Any contact with the hand rules out a goal.

Moura for Lamela and Ndombele for Sissoko hopefully.

Agree there is need for more speed in mid. Celso not the best either.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,220 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

Our passing is awful. Get Moura and Sissoko off now.

Taking off the wrong player there.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,220 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

And again, Moura getting in the way of a near certain goal for Kane there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,118 ✭✭✭joeguevara

Sky sports sound technician nearly blew his load pressing the button for a stoke goal. Half the imaginary crowd thought it was in.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,733 ✭✭✭Glebee

No gile whatsoever in the final third. Sisaoko is way off.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,220 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

Sissoko and Moura need to be replaced. Deli and Ndombele.

If Ndombele doesn't get brought on tonight, he doesn't have a future at the club.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,220 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

    Finally bringing them both on.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,220 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

Absolute bollox yet again. We are ****ing ****e. What the hell is Dier doing? And Sissoko standing watching.

Ah well, that's this season finished. No less then we deserve either.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,118 ✭✭✭joeguevara

This is going to be some 5-2 victory for us,

I think Sheffield United will annihilate us tonite. It will be the biggest one way blitz of a team since the premiership has been resumed. I also predict it will be the biggest second half haul of goals since football has returned. Mousett is a definite to get a hat trick and at least two of the back four will score.

    Spot on as usual Joe.

    Spot on as usual Joe.

I’m disgusted actually. Maybe it’s better to end up mid table and no UEFA. I thought we were going on a run. We were woeful. Our equaliser should have stood but we were dismal. Fcucking any chance of null and void.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,006 ✭✭✭✭2nd Row Donkey

Disgusting is the only word for it.

That was a typical spurs end of season performance from about 10 years ago, nothing to play for and the players are on the beach already.

I don't blame Jose for any of this but every day that goes by proves more and more that Poch was right about needing to rebuild the team.

Was gonna write something up, not gonna waste my time. Shocking game, and shocking last 2 years.

Don’t know what to say to that ****e

    I think you’re better off.

I could say something optimistic but fcuck it. We were robbed as an equaliser but we were shocking. Lamela was good when he came on but everyone else was sh1t.

    Genuine question...

Anybody shocked by that result or that performance?

I agree. I don’t blame Jose. I blame ENIC for firing Poch and hiring Jose.

Poch needed to go when he did.
Poch needed to be backed in the market when he should have been.

Both of those things are correct.

Poch was practically begging for the sack mate. He knew the club were just going to tread water for a few years until the accounts were better.

I am. I’m shocked how a team who hasn’t scored or won since their return and are missing a considerable amount of their team put 3 past us. I’m shocked at how little it seemed to effect our team. I’m shocked at how we have no link between d and f. I’m shocked at how I have nothing good to say.

Whats the bets Sheffield Utd will beat us in the next PL game.
Very likely. Looks to me after the last few results that CL is gone. I suspect our players will already be on the beach.
    form is out the window
i still remember sunderland beating a 17 game winless streak against us the year they absolutely plummeted out of the division
and whats more i remember knowing it would happen

These quotes are from 3-4 days, ago. I guess deep down we knew what were (not) capable of.

It looks like game time was worth way more than a 9 day training break. I don’t think anyone honestly expected that result. I know one of the quotes was a direct quote after I said how much we would win by.

Typical, lost 3 on the bounce and not scored in 3.
    Dr Tottenham to the rescue.
Absolute ****e despite a rake of attackers.
Alli not up to much when he came on
    Ndombele definitely better

    Defence just a disaster zone

Well that was an absolute ****show, apart from Kane I don't care who's sold to finance a rebuild

    Genuine question...

Anybody shocked by that result or that performance?

    no

but i am the downer poster around here

we have no first choice full backs, our first choice centre backs are in transition, have no defensive midfield, our attacking midfielders do not as yet have end product and our one forward is easily marked because our attack is predictable.

we can hog possession and never create

we concede chances from long balls and honest chasing from very limited opposition strikers

the honesty and professionalism poch built into players is gone

    replaced by nothing

this team is done and better to sell what we have, pay that stadium off and start again with youth, because aurier in a spurs shirt again is an insult to anyone that cares.

    levy out

    snoopsheep out

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,317 ✭✭✭Dublin Spur

it started in Feb last year, bit by bit we’ve completely imploded.

ENIC to blame for me but there are lots of different theories.

It’s hard to give a **** anymore and that’s the worst thing about it all

    I hate not giving a f**k, but I just don’t anymore.

Our club is broken from the top down

RIP THFC until ENIC are gone

Not true. Accidental contact with the hand only rules out a goal if that contact causes the player to control or gain possession of the ball and create a goalscoring opportunity as a result.

The ball didn’t even move when it (possibly) grazed his arm hair, so there’s no way he gained control or possession of the ball.

Even if he had, he didn’t create a goalscoring opportunity. The defender kicked the ball against his back to do that.

Not that it really matters. We were soundly thrashed. Jose out.
