We won, that was the most important thing. I've said it before Sanchez should be nowhere near that team, criminal decision (thankfully) by the Brentford player not to go down for a penalty. Sissoko was excellent, Ndombele must be a nightmare to play against. I thought Kane was poor. Has he ever scored from a freekick? Also hate to see him wasting his energy chasing down the goalkeeper and playing so deep at times. Job done, hopefully Hojberg is ok.

I thought Sons first touch was poor at times last night, in fact it's been like that for the last 5 or 6 games. It's a weird one because sometimes it's sublime, like the goal against Leeds at the weekend or when he ran onto that ball last night before scoring but sometimes he makes a hash of some simple passes to him.

Villa have had 10 first team players and 4 coaches test positive. They look to be fielding an U23 team tonight as they've already two postponed games to fit in.

Edit: you are meant to play them on Wednesday.
