Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I think poor old Joe is gonna need another break after this "performance". I know I need one.

    What's the story with Bale?

    What's the story with Bale?

About as sharp as a spoon in a mental ward

    Vinny on Sanchez off. Good.

Sanchez off for vinicius switch to four at back

    Agreed
Back 3 hasn’t worked for us all season.

Get Tangana on at right back to bring us to a back 4. (Sanchez off )

Move Sissoko into midfield to help Hojbjerg

Take Bale off and replace him with Vinnie to give a focal point in attack

=(:-) Me? I know who I am. I'm a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude (-:)=

    What's the story with Bale?

A manager who was the greatest player of his generation and has won three champions leagues from dugout said two years ago he had lost it. Just maybe he was right and we shouldn’t have been listening to the British press defending one of their own

    The actual passing is unbelievable

The unwillingness to move to win a bad pass back is unbelievable

Lads, its the players. Its been the players for years

    Bale is done.

The players need to take a fair chunk of the blame but Jose has them setup this way. You can see there’s no high press out there from us and that’s just inviting these teams on to us.
Shocking all around to be honest.

12-3 attempts on goal after 63 mins . This is Brighton, not Bayern

They're slicing us apart every time and we haven't created a single thing.

This is very depressing. No cohesion, no effort, no anything.

Its as tough to watch as an Ireland game.

Jose is stealing a living, no argument

Theres no tactic to excuse lack of effort, lack of concentration, gutlessness

Players out there that have spent three years performing at a level that would see them sacked in a functional club. Incompetent or unbothered, doesnt matter.

    Tactics come after.

Lads thinking back on it, when was the last 90 mins in the PL when we looked fantastic?

Yeah I really am trying to think when we had a dominant display in the league for a full 90 mins. Even during the Leeds game we didn’t have that.

Yeah apparently and (I know he’s not great) Doherty on the bench.

We haven't been good since 2018. Few brief spells where we got results, but that's about it.

To be fair we had some great performances after the first lockdown. The game at home v Leicester was superb.

But we're as bad as ever tonight.

Jaysus. Toby to the rescue. This is ridiculous

    Unbelievable

Three players jogged back as they took us on three on two

Sack them all, sack every single one of them

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,216 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

Ahh Connolly! How did you not score that.

Sissoko has been awful again, a real showing up of his limitations. Hardly a ball controlled or a pass completed

And yet we keep passing to him

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,216 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

Lamela - "We need a goal, sure may as well shoot from 45 yards."

So that'll be 2 ducks broken this week. Liverpool scoring for the first time in 5 PL games, and Brighton winning their first home game of the season. So very charitable by Spurs.

We're the team that just keep on giving

We don’t deserve anything from this game.

14th in the table based on the last 8 games

We will finish bottom half. Harry and son will leave in the summer. Fans won't turn up when things open up again.Levy will hopefully sort this by the time of the Everton game and show Jose the door

No way Jose is going anywhere. One thing is levy won't pay Jose off to leave. Kane and Son are gone come Summer. Things look bleak.

Reguilon will make a big difference when he returns from injury. He is a huge loss.
I would look at bringing Dele back into the matchday squad.
Send Bale back to the golf course. What a waste of £300,000 per week.

Agree reggie is pure quality and will lift the team.
Ali probably could be given another go, as it looks like ndombele might be injured, son has to stay left as opposed to being played through the middle.
Moura needs a go on the right as we need pace.
Start vinny to hold up the ball and have some feed off him.
    Sack Sanchez sack bale.

Son gets off very easily from fans and media alike. He offers nothing except the odd goal. He’s been rubbish since the derby game and hasn’t been called on it at all.

Bergwin really poor yet again. When are we goi g to see anything from him?

Might be cheaper than relegation though.

Bit harsh. He’s been poor for the last few but he is a quality player. He needs someone to play those balls that he runs onto.
He needs mourinho to stop playing him in the centre as opposed to him out on the left where he can cut in.
Moura can offer the same on the right.

Levy is like a kid in a sweet factory around Jose in the doc. I lost a lot of respect for him after that, I will lose all respect for him if he lets this continue

Ok mourinho obviously not wanting to throw the players under the bus here.
