Alcatel 1066 restore factory settings password?

I've tried the sim pin and puk and they have not worked. I searched through the instructions and can't find any password for it.

SIM PIN/PUK are not linked to phone hardware.

These instructions are for factory reset of Alcatel phones, doesn't mention a password although they are not specific to 1066...

Okay ill try that and see. Just strange that there's a 'restore factory settings' option under 'security' in the settings and when you click into it, it requests a password. Thanks.

Yeah it was 11223344 but it didn't reset to factory settings for some reason. It said something like there wasn't enough data stored to restore it.
