Banned for saying self praise is no praise?

    So I got a one week ban from the SF thread for saying self praise is no praise.

    No warning or anything, just a straight out ban.

    How is saying self praise is no praise against any rules???

    Is it because of a thread an issued a few days ago?

    Are you appealing the 1 week forum ban from CA/IMHO?

    If so, have you attempted to resolve this via PM with the banning mod?
