Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Minister Harris is suggesting schools re open one day a week. As I lost my job ( school bus driver) , I got the Covid payment.

If I then work doing the one day , is the payment then removed? Or , pro rata , reduced.

    Thks

Can't see school buses going back for a while even if schools reopen for a day or 2 I think parents will be expected to drop them. Like you might have some chance of social distinsing in a school but no chance in a bus.

If they are only bringing them back for 1 day a week it may be possible to keep social distancing on the bus. I assume the teachers will be doing a full week in the school it'll only be the students that do 1 day each to enable social distancing. So they will need to transport the students 5 days a week with only limited numbers on each trip.

This explains how to close the claim.

As other poster said, job will probably be 5 days with reduced passenger levels.

However, if someone starts working 1 day/week, they will lose the Covid payment. If they are working 3 days or less, they can apply for Jobseekers Benefit/Short-time.
