Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We are after handing over 131 million so far for ppe. No doubt another 300 million will be dished out to see us through this pandemic.
Glad we can help the Chinese economy in this crisis.

Can u come up with a solution to make it here quickly instead of giving out about China.

If you want to give out about something try those wet markets

If the virus originated in Ireland the government would be all apologies to China and every other place and looking to land the people of Ireland with another 100 years of debt to pay for the PPE they would be giving to other affected countries for free.

    1 Give world virus
2 Sell world PPE for the virus
3 Make the sold PPE substandard
    4 Sell more PPE

Don't worry, short term issue, long term these will be sourced from a European entity to EU standards. Long overdue reliance on China for medical needs will reduce

and this is why no one country can be allowed to end up in such a position.
The world has sleep walked into a strategic disaster zone.

The EU (with the UK) should convene a meeting and resolve to design and manufacture it's own vital supplies. Not just health related but all sorts of things that are currently handed over to China on grounds of cost and convenience. In the end it weakens us and empowers them (whoever they happen to be)

We are stuck with the problem that nearly all kitchen appliances and most electronics comes from Shenzhen. It will be hard to wean ourselves off the feckers. Not impossible but it's going to take a lot of hard graft and willpower

The HSE have committed to 200m of PPE from China.

The first order was 15-20m and of this 20% was deemed unsuitable.

So if 4m of the first 20m batch was unsuitable, does anyone have any details about the other 180m being unsuitable?

Alot of the publicity seems to be based on the initial order.
