    Hi,
I'd like to open a Notice Deposit account but I called into my local branch and they said they aren't dealing with these queries at the moment.

Can I open it by dealing direct instead via the branch?

Is a current account required?  I don't have one with BOI and don't need another
    thanks

    Hi There,

Thanks for getting in touch with us here on Boards.ie.

I'm sorry to hear you were unable to open an account when you called into one of our branches, can I ask what branch this was? We'd be happy to look into this for you.

We have a number of Notice Deposit Accounts. How you would apply would depend on the account itself, some require you to call into your local branch with photo ID to open, if you are a non-BOI customer. For some of the accounts, it would be necessary to have a BOI current account.

I have attached a link here with more information on our Savings Accounts and how to apply.

    Thanks, Aisling
