    Possibly, not sure

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? [Hard drive/DVD Drive/Case/PSU/etc.] (If possible state brand and model of the parts to ensure compatibility)
I could if absolutely needed but prefer all new

    5. Do you need a monitor? [Yes/No]
    No

5a. If yes, what size do you need. [19'/20'/22'/24'/etc.]
    Na

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? [1920x1080/1440x900/etc.] [Yes/No]
    1920x1080, yes will upgrade shortly

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? [Keyboard/Mouse/Wireless Card/Card Reader/Speakers/etc.]
Yes, wifi card and could up the budget for a good mouse and keyboard

Would this be any good or is it an oddball mismatch?

    Currently I have an i5-2400, 12gb ram, gtx 1050ti in a dell optiplex 390.
It is mostly fine for what I want but just fancy an upgrade.

Thinking about it more I'm not sure if I should bother with a new GPU at all. I don't play any demanding games. Gta V is probably the most demanding and the only new game I'm getting anytime soon has these requirements.

OS: Win 7 64 Processor: Intel Core i5-750S 2.4GHz / AMD Phenom II X4 965 Graphics: AMD Radeon R7 360X or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti System Memory: 6 GB RAM Storage: 15 GB Hard drive space

It's fine but the RX580 is obsolete, the GTX1660 is cheaper and faster, also Radeon 5500XT.

If you're a big GTA player that game runs way better on Nvidia cards.

Whether or not you need the GPU upgrade is up to you, but a new processor would show very little gains in GTA V, a better graphics card would show huge gains at 1080p.

£200 is a really bad price for an RX 580.

TBH it might be cheaper to have this system built for you:
    https://www.cclonline.com/pc/gaming-pcs/delta-pro/ccl-delta-pro-gaming-pc/04000301/
    Customised Delta Pro
    CPU AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4GHz
    RAM 16GB DDR4 2400MHz
    Graphics Radeon RX 580 8GB
Storage 500GB Western Digital Blue 3D NAND SATA III SSD
    £628.99
    or £728.99 with Windows 10

Truth be told ill probably never play gta. I bought it on sale for nostalgia. Used to play on ps4 with boardsies.

I suppose I'm looking for similar specs posted above really.

Am I right in thinking that the 1600af isn't on pcpartpicker?

Most of the 1600s on sale now will likely be 12nm AF stock - the 16nm hasn't been produced in some time.

CCL are known to label theirs as AE but delivering AF; not sure about their prebuilts though.

Yep, just phoned them and they confirmed they only sell the af, they can't change the website cos they still get the ae from the supplier.

I think I'll take my chances with the 1050ti and see how it goes. I'm leaning towards this, any opinions on the case?

Case is decent but only comes with a single rear exhaust fan - I'd add a pair of Arctic P12/P14 for intake (pretty cheap - £4-6 each).

With regards to motherboard, I'd upgrade to MSI B450M MORTAR MAX if budget allows.

This comes to £434 including delivery from CCL

Swapped the case for something you reccomended on another thread, will I need extra fans in this?
