Does anybody else see a correlation between the record numbers of death over the last few days and the invasion of our seaports in the days leading up to easter (7-14 days ago, with COVID 19 incubation period of 7-14 days).

Can we expect the same in 10-14 days after the Keelings invasion, which is still ongoing, and promoted by leo, who begged EU to let him import them.

If you can do the job, do it. If you can't do the job, just teach it. If you really suck at it, just become a union executive or politician.

No. I believe that high number was a retrospective counting issue.

What is this invasion pre-easter your even referring to?

Previous high was 44 and reducing every day. 13 days ago major traffic from UK through ferryports for easter break. Yesterdays death total 77 (new high), today's 44 (equal to previous high, which was reducing to low 20's). If numbers followed the curve we should have had less than 15 today.

What retrospective counting are you referring to ?. The extra numbers added to the total ARE NOT INCLUDED IN DAILY TOTALS, so exactly who are you saying cannot count?

As well as the widely reported campervans, caravans, cars with roof-boxes or loaded roof-racks that landed and were not turned around in the week leading up to the easter holiday, there was also the 150 of a certain ethnic minority that arrived from London and were allowed to travel to Offaly for a funeral.

The number of deaths given in the CMO press briefing each day is not the number of people that died that day but rather the number of new deaths reported to NPHET that day. The deaths may have occurred a number of days previous but have only been reported and so are included in the press briefing total.

Here is an RTÉ article about it from the weekend https://www.rte.ie/news/2020/0418/1132271-deaths-covid-holohan/

Theres probably some migratory seabirds and whales and dolphins that "invade" around this time of year as well. Must be them as well.
