Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Any idea what stop you would get off and then walk?

I think you'd be better off getting the 56A Walkinstown as it goes through Walkinstown and on to that industrial estate. The only problem is that bus only goes once an hour and even at that it can be delayed. The Luas goes fairly near it. The Kingswood stop and the Red Cow stop are about a 15 minute walk to different parts of the industrial estate.

    Stop number 2337

Thanks tjc28 - so just past the Maxol.

Any idea what stop if I got the 56A to get off for Westgate Business Park?

The walk would be shorter but off course the 56A is not regular.

Luas be no good. Be a 20 minute walk to Luas from Walkinstown.

stop 2725 is right outside westgate bus park.

not sure what you mean about the walk from the luas to walkinstown. From the Kingswood luas stop its a ten minute walk to Westgate.

@tjc28 - thanks for that. I'd be heading from Walkinstown so nearest luas would be about a 20 minute walk. Bus is the way to go from Drimnagh Road.

The Westgate Park part of Ballymount seems to be near the Virgin Media (old TV3 end) so I think your best bet would be to ask the bus driver to let you know when you're near there. As far as I can remember there is a stop fairly close to it.

So it's almost time for me to finally go back into the office - shred- it Dublin 6A Westgate Business Park.

The 56A is no doubt the best option but bus frequency is terrible.

I'm just wondering if I get 27 or 77A and then get off at Maxol on Greenhills Road and walk down Ballymount Road Upper is that the quickest way to walk. I think I notice an entrance opposite Lidl - is this a walking option and shorter?

So basically the 56A bus never arrived and I waited 25 minutes after it was supposed to arrive. I got a 27 and got off at Lidl. Next time I will get off at the Maxol.

    Where in Walkinstown are you?

From the roundabout it is about a 30 minute walk, which is easier and quicker than messing around with busses.

You'll also save a few quid.

I'm not too far from roundabout - I'd probably be looking at a 40 minute walk.
