I am not sure if this is even feasible but we have a garage that we would like to convert and include a box bay window into the overhanging porch part. Is this even feasible? We have had a competitive quote to convert the garage in a basic way but this would add an extra 3 feet of space which would be in valuable.

    Thank you.

    Planning permission required?

Anything's possible cost would be determined by what's supporting the roof over head which I'd imagine is the structural head over the garage door . So leaving that in place should make it fairly straight forward.
Just have to allow for :
Foundations to carry weight of bay walls and windows.
Continue DPC layer and insulation from garage base.
Tie in walls, DPC ,airtightness and insulation on walls and ceilings.
    Planning compliant.

Is the bay window to the front? Planning required.
